Creston, NC, is probably most known for its historic Worth’s Chapel in the heart of the city. Originally built in 1902, Creston United Methodist Church is still a place of worship today. It became listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

History of Creston, NC

Creston is an unincorporated community in Ashe County, North Carolina, southwest of Grayson. It’s a small town, but one worth visiting.

Worth’s Chapel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
